Kevin decided to join the Finance industry because he knows how important it is to be financially balanced and live a disciplined lifestyle. He wants to educate others about the pitfalls that intrude on successful retirement. Kevin’s personal philosophy is simple, “If you work hard and live a disciplined lifestyle then you have no other option but to be successful.”
Kevin received his BBA in Finance on May 15th 2011 from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has his Series 7, 63, 66 and Group 1 licenses.
Kevin Thompson was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, and currently resides in the same location.
In 1998, Kevin received a baseball scholarship to play at TCU after being drafted by the Minnesota Twins. He transferred out to Grayson Junior College where they won two National Championships, and where he was rated the #1 Junior College player by Baseball America in 19992000. A two-time All-American, he was drafted and signed by the New York Yankees in 2001. He also signed a baseball scholarship to play at the University of Texas.
Kevin made his Major League debut in June 2006 and hit his first homerun at Yankee stadium during his second start of his career. He was the New York Yankees Minor League Player of the Year in 20052006.
For fun, Kevin like’s to workout and play with his son Braxton. He enjoys his family time and makes sure that his work life does not interrupt his family life.
Kevin married Sherae Thompson on October 29th 2005. They had a son Braxton RichardWolfgang Thompson, on November 29th, 2010.
